Wirral Coastguard called out after people were “wave dodging and taking photos in dangerous locations”

Wirral Coastguard Rescue Team were called out today [Sunday] at around midday in response to concerns for the safety of members of the public “wave dodging and taking pictures in dangerous locations”. They have once again emphasised the danger of strong winds combined with high tides. A picture posted on Facebook shows how large rocks were thrown of sea walls onto the pavements narrowly missing members of the public walking past.

They have issued a warning asking that “members of the public stay safe and try and stay away from these waves during this bad weather.”
